Flag Day

Happy Flag Day yesterday!!!! It was a great day for us! It was Kole's first full day home in two weeks:) We did a lot of hanging out and sitting around, just enjoying each others company.

And then we busted open the grill and made this for dinner! It was so so so yummy! New York strip steaks, corn on the cob and yummy yummy dutch oven potatoes... Aren't you jealous?

Baptism and birthdays

This past weekend I went up to Brigham City to visit with my family. 1- for my mom's birthday and a late celebration of my own b-day. and 2- for my nephews baptism.

Me and my mommy! I love her to death! She is one of my best friends and greatest examples. She has taught me to be a kind, loving, understanding human being . And for her, I am truly, truly greatful!! Love you Mommy:)
Look how Sweet this cake is!!!! My sister Donna is pretty much the most amazing person in the kitchen I have ever met! Not only does her stuff look like it belongs on the food network channel but it tastes awesome! So you should probably look at our recipe blog to try out some of her yummy stuff.

My nephew Brock and his Uncle Jared (Donna's husband) It was such a special day! I'm so proud of you little buddy!!!

April's Baby Shower

So last week my friend Laci and I threw a baby shower for our friend at work, April. She had her baby two months early and didn't have much for her yet so we all spoiled her. It was a lot of fun!!
