AVON lady

Doctors orders are that I have to be done with work by 24 weeks. It makes me really sad to think about because I finally found a job i really enjoy and love going into on the days I worked. But sadly my time has come to an end, my last day is next Wednesday, which means I have a few months of nothing except being a stay at home wife and getting ready for these two little ones to come into the world. I decided I needed to do something!! Not only to keep me sain but also to help in the money department. Avon is something I've been thinking about selling for a while. I grew up with their products and I still love getting them. They always have great sales and have a ton of options... Soo.... I am now an official AVON LADY! lol
I'm super excited about it! We get new magazines every two weeks and my first order is going in on Sept, 3rd. If any one is interested, please let me know! If you live in washington county I will make sure I get you the magazine and some samples and if you live elsewhere, still let me know because I will have my website up on Monday and it will ship right to your house. :)
Just e-mail me at tabs116@yahoo.com with the title "Avon" and let me know where you live and a phone # i can reach you at! Right now pretty much everything in the magazine is on sale! (I'm talking crazy deals) so it's the perfect time to order! thanks all:)

Baby Names!!!

So because Kole and I are such planners we have our names all picked out!

Baby A: Kollin Dean Ramsay

Baby B: Kleyton Antone Ramsay

:) only a few more months till these little ones make it into the world!!!!

starting the nursery....

We decided... ok well I decided that we were going to redo some furniture for the babies room. I had it all planned in my head and thought, 'oh this will be easy!' We have 3 pieces to redo, one we are borrowing, and one being built for us by my awesome sister and her husband.
These are our first two projects......

First: the dresser!!

BEFORE

AFTER.. This one wasn't to bad. just a coat of primer, and 2 coats of paint. changed the handles, (these one's were light wooden ones and we just stained them to match the crib)

2nd Project: Crib #1
This crib has been in our family since my oldest brother was born. (a little over 40 years)
My grandpa Elmo built it and my mom did the staining and painting. There have been tons of babies who have slept in this.. Including me, until I was 5 and got a bunk bed to share with my sisters. And lots of my nieces and nephews have taken a turn in this bad boy! It is an awesome crib, just a little out dated... So with my mothers permission we refinished it.
BEFORE

It took us about 4 days to finish it... 2 of which were sanding! I hate sanding now!!! We have an electric sander which helped a lot but we seriously went through like 30 sanding pads because the stain was in there good!!! All I have to say is my mom is awesome at doing furniture because who else could have done that 40 years ago and still had it looking so good?
Anyway, through trial and error we got it done and I think it looks Amazing!!!
AFTER!!
I just want to give a special thanks to my hubby!! Who did most of the work (because I am pregnant and could only stand the heat and wearing a crazy mask for so long!~)
I love you honey!! Thanks for all the hard work you do! :)
Now all I need to do is get the rest of the furniture in, and make matching bedding (I would buy but this crib is not a normal size and I need something to occupy myself for the next few months of "rest and no work" as my doctor puts it.) I'll post more pictures as we get more done!!
Needless to say, my whole "oh this is easy" thinking was obviously WRONG! and it was way more difficult than I thought. But I think the end result turned out awesome:)

5 months!!!...

I can't believe that I'm already "half way"
(I put that in quotes cuz with twins I know I wont make it to 40 weeks)
Last week we got another ultra sound and found out that we're having two little boys!! We can't wait!
We do have both middle names picked out and 1 first name but we need to get the other name before we decide which baby gets what... so that means all of you will have to wait:)
Both babies are growing great! Measuring the same and heart beats are good!
They also have all the little parts (not just boy parts...lol) that the ultra sound tech. looks for. She says so far so good!
We couldn't be happier!
I'm feeling great lately! Sometimes I get a head ache and my tailbone hurts if I sit to long. Plus the normal stretching and pregnancy pains. Other than that We are all doing fine, I don't have any stretch marks,... yet... (well, no new ones since I hit that growth spurt in middle school...lol)
But my belly is sure growing fast! I don't feel to big unless I look at pictures and then I think Whoa Momma!!! Really?!?! How much bigger can this belly get? I guess we will have to wait and see:)
I can feel baby flutters and "popcorn popping" in my tummy a lot more lately.
Which isn't surprising considering the fact that in all my ultra sounds the baby's move constantly and it's a good thing they are in two separate sacs with a membrane in between because they would probably come out with bruises the way they kick and punch at each other!! They looked like two little boxers when we found out what they were.
Kole is so cute with them already,.. he can't feel them move yet but he likes to lay his head on my tummy and listen to them. He says that they make popping sounds when they move instead of tummy gurgles so he can tell what is babies and what is normal stomach sounds. I kind of wish I could hear it too!!! I can't wait till he can feel them!
We are so excited to be parents and I'm glad I get to go through this journey with the love of my life!

Weekend of learning how to play mommy....

So this past weekend Donna and Jared went on vacation to celebrate their 9 year anniversary.
I was able to take care of their three kids for the weekend and we had tons of fun!!
MaKady is 12 and helped me out so much with everything, Paige is 7 and the funniest thing ever and always keeps me on my toes, and Lucas is 18 months and the sweetest little boy ever. All in all, it was a very busy weekend but their kids are so well behaved that it was easy. I only hope my kids will be that good all the time too!!
Kole had to go up north this weekend for drill and Lucas just loved what he was wearing.
He loves his uncle Kole!!
(*** lucas associates army guys with kole, so a couple weeks ago when we went to the rodeo
and Lucas saw some holding the flag he kept saying "Kole, Kole!" **)

On Friday Mary, Hannah and I took the kids to lunch, the mall, and the splash pad in St. George.....
All the kids.
Trinity, Paige, Ava, Lucas and MaKady.
Playing on the rides at the mall!!!

Paige was such a good little helper, everytime I was cooking or putting anything away she kept asking if she could sweep or mop or do dishes... made my job a little easier:)
On Saturday I took the kids to the Washington community center pool.
We had a lot of fun and Lucas loved the lazy river so we must have gone down that like 300 times!
Later we went to Pirate island pizza for dinner and rented movies.

The weekend was busy and fun!! Can't wait to do it with my own kids one day:)
Thanks for the experience Donna and Jared and Happy Anniversary!!!!

Ramsay Reunion!

So 2 weeks ago we took a little trip out to kanab for the annual Ramsay reunion.
It was so fun to see everyone and spend a weekend in such nice, cool weather.
While we were there, there was a huge rain/thunder/lightning/flash flood storm.... I didn't get any pictures but the whole town pretty much got covered in mud! It was sad to see all the houses that got flooded out. :(
The next day after the crazy night of weather was the reunion at the park. there was yummy food, a treasure hunt and fish pond for the kids, lots of family to visit with and a raffle (my favorite part) at the end! We had a great weekend and it was so nice to spend time with family and I even got to meet one of Kole's aunts and cousins I haven't met yet (they live in Illinois so there is usually a few years between visits.)
Danielle and Kris even brought out their new baby Kooper to G-ma Ramsays house so everyone could meet the cute little one!
Helping with the treasure hunt....

The kids getting their treasure (my father-in-law loaded up the treasure boxes this year!!!)

Danielle and Kris had Kooper
Kole's cousin Liz and her fiance are due at the beginning of October

Later that night the kids put on their 2nd annual concert on the porch...
we had an after party over at my mother in laws house, complete with roasting hot dogs on the fire!

the next day we got to relax and spend time with all of the nieces and nephews.
it was such a nice weekend but I think it tuckered everyone out... especially these two!
