SATURDAY!!!!...

So my parents were able to come down for the week and it's been so much fun! They haven't been able to come down to southern Utah for 4 years but they finally made it. We've been having such a blast this week playing card games, eating a lot of food, watching movies, and visiting. We also went to the animal museum and went out to eat a couple of times. Hannah, Bryce, Kole and I have had such a fun time with them here. They have to leave tomorrow and I'm so sad they have to go but so thankful that I've been able to have some one on one time with my parents. My mom has also been teaching me how to crochet in a fancy way and I think I'm doing pretty good so far. I might put a couple of my projects on here sometime.
Anyway since today is the last full day with my parents we did a bunch of fun stuff.
I love getting pedicures and my mom has never had one so today was the perfect day to share that little joy with her.(If you've never had one I highly recommend it:) )

During the afternoon while Kole took a little nap I went to a couple of antique stores and a book store with my parents which was fun and reminded me of when I was younger,. I miss spending time with them because they are so far away.
When Hannah got off work we went to dinner at Texas Road House, which was sooooooo yummy!

Then we went to the little bowling alley by our house and played a couple of games. We all did pretty well.

When we got back Bryce got off work and came over and we all watched a movie. Everyone is sleeping now except me and my Dad. (We're always the last to bed in our family)
It's been such a good week and a great Saturday. I'm hate to see it end but it's been so nice to have them visit. I'm gonna miss them when they leave but hopefully they will be able to come visit more often.

National Guard Ball 09'

As promised... Us before the ball! We are such Hotties:)
It was a fun night filled with people in anywhere from church attire to full blown prom. I love it:) We had yummy food, they had an awards ceremony in which Kole finally got his 6 years of service award (He's coming up on 8 years next month) and A slide show that made everyone start to tear up. I don't think anyone could understand why unless they have a military member in their family. We are all so proud of these men!
We also had a raffel (we didn't win anything.)
I love being a military wife and being able to support my husband in all that he does. It's nice to get together with other soldiers and their wife's and girlfriends and spend time together supporting each other and knowing that we're all in it together.
I love you Kole and am so proud of you everyday! You are truly the most amazing person I know and I am so lucky to have you in my life. Thank you for all that you do! Love you honey:)

CRAZY BUSY!!!!

The Title explains it all! We have been so busy with the holidays and trying to fit everyone and everything in it that I've hardly had time to post anything. So here is another picture overload(I'm getting good at that) and pretty much a months worth of fun:)

Well It all starts off with the Spa!! For our Christmas party at Dr. J's office we were told to be at the office for dinner and a surprise at 4:00. We all showed up and ate a yummy dinner made by Jamie. (Dr's wife) then we started exchanging gifts and talking about funny things that happened during the year and then Dr. J gave us each a gift bag. Inside each bag was an envelope and in each envelope there was a christmas card and directions... to the Spa!!! :) We all drove there and got pampered for 4 hours! It was so amazing and so much fun. Thanks again Mike and Jamie!

Here's me and Kara looking all beautiful.

Well the next weekend happened to be Paige's Birthday. So I mentioned to Kole that I wish we could have gone up to see them seeing as how this would be my first Christmas with out my family.. Then he said well lets go then:) (such a cute husband) so we packed up all our stuff and headed out and surprised them. It was a fun weekend. but not long enough. I wish we could have visited everyone else that lives up there but we were only there for 1 night.

Christmas candies is one of my favorite parts of Christmas. So as I was making them I noticed that I had someone watching my every move. My cat Emmy is such a weird-O but I love her! She knows that she's not allowed on the counter so while I cook she sits on the stools and watches. So Cute!!

This was our first Married Christmas, our first Christmas in our new home, and also my first Christmas without my side of the family, but It turned out to be so much fun and I'm glad we were able to stay home and start some of our own traditions.
We celebrated Christmas eve with Kris, Danielle, Madi and Karter. We went to the Squeekquil and hung out and watched movies and ate a yummy dinner and played Madi's Eye-Spy-Christmas book! It was a fun night!

Christmas Morning was just us two and our two cats. It was way different then the hustle and bustle I'm used to but I wouldn't trade our first Christmas and the specialness of it for the world!
The Cats got a huge scratching post from santa and I know that we are weird but we spent like and hour playing with what they got(yes we got them stuff! we have no kids so we're allowed to spoil our pets...lol) and it was actually a lot of fun! They both are so crazy and got so excited and hyper! it was so funny!

Later Christmas morning we went back over to Kris and Danielle's for breakfast. We both got Wii's from santa so we brought over our remotes and played mario cart all morning! :)

Christmas night we had Hannah and Bryce over for dinner! (It was their turn with his side of the family this year so luckily we were able to steal them away for a my first Ham dinner and a round of bowling on the Wii before they had to go back)

The rest of the weekend was spent in our Jammies playing with all our toys! So much fun and just what I needed!

For New Years weekend we went out to Las Vegas to visit Kole's Dad and his fiance Sharon. We had a lot of fun spending time together!
Sharon made lots of yummy food, we watched a few football games and spent most of our time looking at scrapbooks of kole when he was growing up. We also went to two movies and I got to watch the boys Shoot guns:) (Koles Uncle came out later in the weekend too)
On New years eve we went to the Red rock Casino for a movie and sat on top of the parking garage to watch the fireworks going off on the strip and to ring in the new year!

We're still just as busy now that the holidays are over! Last night was the National Guard ball And on friday my parents are coming to town for a week and a half! So expect more pictures and a ton more fun in a couple more weeks! :)
Things that happened this past year!
Planned for my wedding.
Got married in March to the love of my life.
Went to Mexico on a cruise, Disney land, and seaworld for our honey moon.
Bought a house.
Kole was able to go to Germany for 3 weeks.
Had our first Christmas in our new home.
and we got to spend a lot of time with both of our families all year long!
I am so thankful for everything that I have been blessed with. I thank God for all that I have everyday. I especially thank him for allowing me to have Kole in my life. Without my husband I wouldn't be complete! I love you Honey and I look forward to many more holidays with you:)
