Christmas

Our Christmas was so much fun!  Kole and I were up right at 7am with the first sound of our kids waking up!  We grabbed the video camera and ran down the hall to get the babies out of bed and to see what santa brought us all!  Kollin got a grill and Kleyton got a tool bench.  Kole got a shop vac and a game and I got a sewing box and some clothes and jewlery. Our cat Chuck even got a new collar and toy.

In our Christmas Jammies!

The boys had so much fun playing with Chuck and his new toy.

And they loved all the presents they got from everyone else! But after they got these ride-on trucks from my father in law it was all over, they did not care about ANYTHING else!  They loved em!

They liked these loud truck Kole got them too :)

The house was a MESS and stayed that way for a few days...lol

The boys had tons of fun and even had some of Santa's leftover cookies for breakfast.

After we got ready for the day we went over to Kole's brothers house for breakfast and we took this!  It was yummy! You can find the recipe HERE!!

We played with all their new toys and had tons of fun visiting.  Later from lunch/dinner we went to my sister Donna's house and opened a few more presents and ate yummy food.

It was a great Holiday and the best part of the whole day was that Kole got to be here with us!  Merry (late) Christmas!

Christmas Eve

After Hours of trying to download these pictures, they FINALLY worked!  Yay!  We had a great Christmas Eve, we spent most of the day just hanging around the house and watching Christmas movies.  We invited family over for the afternoon and dinner and it was a blast!

Kole did a dutch over turkey for dinner!  It was sooooooo yummy!  All 22 pounds of it :)

Kollin got mad that Kleyton got to sit on Daddy's lap.

Karter gave Kole a special present just from him and he had to open right then!

The turkey took a few hours longer to cook then we thought but it was worth the wait and all the snacks and appetizers kept us happy :)  Doesn't the steam coming off of it look amazing?!!

After everyone left we set out cookies for Santa, read a few Christmas books with the boys and put them down to bed. We cleaned up a little, wrapped a few more gifts and curled up with some hot chocolate in our bed.  I think we even heard some reindeer on the roof ;)

Things in december.....

Life is still busy around here and with our internet getting all messed up blogging has been harder to do.  Thankfully my awesome neighbor said I could borrow her wireless until we get our new internet hooked up which will hopefully be very soon.  Anyway here is a quick december update.'

We got family pictures for our christmas cards.  It was a cold WINDY day and thankfully we got a couple cute ones.  As always thank you Donna!!

Kelyton finally got big enough to be in his car seat!  It's a good thing too because he was getting really good at fighting when we'd try and put him in his baby seat.

We've all been passing around every flu bug, and coughing, and stomach virus, and basically every sickness that everyone is complaining about on facebook between the 4 of us and our family that lives near by.  It's been a hard month of coughing and doctor visits and antibiotics, breathing treatments and nasty diaper changes and fevers.  One day we all were feeling kinda crappy so we all just watched movies and hung out.  The baby's were playing but Kollin was just not happy at all so he was crying and came over to me and leaned his head on my lap.  I asked Kleyton to bring me Kollins binkie and he TOTALLY did!!!!!~  He even put it in Kollin's mouth for him.. Such a nice brother!  Anyway Kollin started climbing up the couch and this picture is about as far as he got before he fell asleep, poor baby.

Our niece Paige had a fun birthday party.. and turned 9

For family home evening the Tuesday before Christmas we took a little trip into St. George.
We ate dinner at Applebees, did a little Christmas shopping and went to the temple
to see the nativity and lights.  They always do an amazing job with the lights but I must admit that in all my years in southern utah this was my first time actually getting out of the car and looking and listening to the nativity.  It was definitely worth it, puts you in the true Christmas spirit.
We also went into the visitors center to warm up and went through a new little video/museum type thing they have about families.  It was AWESOME!  I would encourage everyone to go to it!

We've also been just spending a lot of time playing with the boys!

Then the Friday before Christmas we met up with Donna and her family out at Tuachan to see their live nativity, which gets better and better every year!
