Yay!!! Kole's Home:)
He wasn't supposed to be home till late last night but while I was getting ready for work yesterday morning my doorbell starts going off. Now my doorbell is not your average doorbell... I can barely hear it from the back of my house But when you do it sounds like someone is playing operation.. You know that annoying sound when you hit the two metal parts together... Anyway, most people know to just knock really hard but it kept going off... So I ran to see who it was, and to my happy surprise it was my soldier, home from Bulgaria dressed handsomely in his uniform and all smiles. It was good to see him before work but sucked cuz work dragged on like no other. Anyway I will post some pictures for those of you who don't know what Bulgaria looks like(I know I didn't) ...later. It was a long three weeks!! and the longest we've ever been apart. So today I am grateful that he's home and proud of my soldier who is willing to do anything for the sake of his country:)

Peach Days!
Peach days was this last weekend up in Brigham City.
I was planning on going up just to hang out with my mom for a few
days because kole is still out of town and i needed to keep myself busy and it's always good to spend time with my family!! MY mom and I had a really fun time. I took her to lunch and we bought a bunch of stuff at an antique store in Logan. We went to a farmers market and we went to a place called E-3 and put our feet in a water chi bath. It was good to get away:) But the rest of the weekend was full of family, peach days activities, food, and more family because it was my niece Bailey's Baby blessing too.. I have a lot of pictures and sorry that the first is turned (I don't know how to fix it. If you know how to turn the picture after you've already up loaded it or even know how to delete it. My Emmy Ray
So I have this beautiful little kitten named Emmy Ray. Kole and I decided to call her Emmy because she had emerald green eyes when we got her (despite what his dad thinks.... He believes her name is Emmy because we got her out by Colorado city and he thinks Emmy is short for poligEMMY) But anyways I have come to realize that she is my child. I never thought I would turn into one of those people who just go ga-ga over their pets, but I've grown really attached to her. I know I know , you all are just rolling your eyes right now thinking 'what in the heck, not another one of those crazy animal people' But, it's not like that... I don't take it to an extreme, I don't dress her up and paint her nails, or carry her in a little bag into grocery stores and stuff.. I just love her at home, and worry that she'll be safe when I'm away. But seriously come on just look
at her, she is so cute. She's a mixture between a cat, dog, ferrite, baby, and crazy... (Not literally, just all of her different personalities.) She has this wonderful new habit of having to be up at 5 am... sharp. uhg! she runs around and meows, touches my head with her little paw and she carries her toys in her mouth and brings them up onto my bed to wake me up so I'll play with her. she's a nut! She even lets me carry her like a baby and she's always sitting on my lap... like right now... she really is, just watching me type. She'll watch movies with me, she stairs at the screen almost like she knows whats going on. It's a little different but she's mine... You all have beautiful little children, husbands, wives... My family consists of my loving boyfriend and my baby Emmy. And of course my sisters and brothers and other family too:) I know I'm strange but... That's just me:) And I promise I wont blog about my cat all the time... just when I feel it's necessary.

The 12 week challenge!!
So Here's The deal... My cousin Naomi is starting this thing she calls the '12 week challenge'. Which basically consists of eating healthy, working out, and just plain old taking care of yourself. She's starting it because her husband is coming back from the navy in a little over 12 weeks, which is an awesome reason. After I read her blog about it, I decided it sounded like a great idea for me. Not only because I'm getting a little thicker than I would like but also because by the time I'm done with it, it will be right around thanksgiving and all those other fantastic, food filled holidays. So it will be good to slim down before those days rather than just packing more lbs on like we tend to do every year. So today is my day 1 of the 12 week challenge and so far I've done my work out for the day, thrown away all the crap in my fridge and ate a pretty healthy breakfast with fruits and things like that. My main goal is to work out 5 times a week, portion control, and watch me sweets intake. My other BIGGEST problem is that I work at a restaurant from 10;30-5 everyday and despite what most people think, we at Ruby Tuesday do NOT eat food that's been sent back, made by mistake and we're not allowed to order any while we're still on the clock. So my boyfriend came up with the idea to just take in a meal replacement drink like slim fast or boost. yay Kole! He always has good suggestions. So here I go... Day 1. and wish me luck!!! You can join in too ya know! It'll be good for you and you know you want too!!!:)
