Making room for Baby A and Baby B....

This last weekend Kole and I were just little home bodies and we were trying to decide what to do. We decided it would be a great time to FINALLY build shelves in our garage. We've had boxes stacked on top of boxes and camping stuff inside our crib and it needed it bad!! So Saturday Kole and His brother Kris started work. Kris was able to show him the basics, cuz as my husband put it..."I haven't done any wood work since high school shop."
They had it started and on Sunday Kole was able to finish.
It was too hot for me to be out there for too long but I was able to help, holding boards and stuff when needed. And then when he was done we spent only a couple minutes putting everything on. And man oh man did it make a HUGE difference. My garage actually feels as big as it should and we deffinately have some extra space, and a crib that is now usable for when the little ones get here.

And speaking of babies...
We had our ultra sound and doctor visit today.
We found out that both babies are measuring 13.2 weeks.
They are both very, very wiggly.
Their heart beats sound good.
Our due date is December 28th (but with twins they usually come around 35-37 weeks so probably in late November)
We know where baby A is (on my right side and low with head down)
And where baby B is (on my left side and high with head up)
So far so good. We have another visit in 4 weeks and will get to find out what they are (If they both cooperate) in 6 weeks... Any guesses?

What I've been up to...

Well, I've been the worst blogger lately. A lot has to due with the fact that most days if I don't have to go to work I am struggling to keep up with normal day to day stuff, like cooking dinner, cleaning, making sure my cats have food, etc..... Thankfully I have am amazing husband who not only works like crazy all the time but is so willing to help me, when I'm nauseated or just so tired all I can do is sleep, with out complaining at all!!
I never realised how exhausting it is to grow babies inside!! Sometimes I wake up with a full nights sleep and can barely get out of bed. I've felt so sick lately, I've actually lost quite a bit of weight.
I honestly don't know how women get pregnant over and over again if they feel like this.
I'm either completely constipated (yummy I know)... or the complete opposite.
I'm nauseous about 85% of the time and when I'm not it's still kind of there.
I've only thrown up a couple times and it was because last week and the week before I had allergies so bad that I would cough so hard and long it would trigger my gag reflex.
And I've had bad headaches... that I can't sleep off and sometimes the couple of Tylenol I can take don't work..... I had a constant headache from Friday morning till about mid Sunday.
I do have nausea pills but the side effects are tiredness, head aches, and constipation. So by fixing one problem I make three others worse.
I know this all sounds like so much fun!!!! And I am whining up a storm but this is the normal of what I am feeling lately. I know that there are plenty of women out there who have it way worse than me and I am so thankful I'm not worse. And I commend all you women who just grin and bear it. I on the other hand can not.. I thought I was a tough girl, but any girl who thinks that has obviously not been pregnant yet.. I know there is tons more to come but for now things are finally starting to look up. I'm 12 weeks and I can feel that some of the crazy 1st trimester symptoms are starting to let up a bit and everything else that I will deal with the whole pregnancy I am starting to get used to and am starting to be able to deal a little bit better. It's been kind of a shock I must say.

I have a ultra sound and doctor visit on Thursday so i will give you baby x 2 details then. :)

So for the last month or so (whenever my last pre-baby-news blog was) I have been up to a lot.
I do have pictures of all of this stuff but I feel like I'm so behind that if I try to get them all in I will never catch up. So sorry this post will have to go without.

*the first weekend of may Kole and I went up to the golden spike, to go camping with his family and he competed in a gun shoot. Everyone who competed did such a good job! It was a cold weekend but it was a lot of fun. I even was able to go over to Brigham and see my parents for a while one night.
* The middle of May was Hannah's baby shower up in American fork. Mary, Hannah, Trinity and I took a fun little road trip up there and Had a great time with all the women in our family.
*My niece Trinity had her 7th B-day party at Pirate island pizza and that happened to be the day we found out we were having twins and told our families.. Good day!!
*Kole and I took trinity to the medieval fair at the Washington county fair grounds and later that night told some friends our good news and ate a medieval dinner complete with show and no utensils.
*Memorial weekend we spent most of the time hanging out at home but one day we drove out to the Ramsay cabin with Kris, Danielle and their kids. We were able to hang out with everyone there and had such a fun day!
*My birthday was on the 4th so we had a fun family/friend BBQ at our house! Thank you to everyone who was able to come. It made my birthday amazing!
I think I'm pretty much caught up and can now post pictures and hopefully keep up with life.... And I promise the next one will have pictures and wont be so whiny!!

Doctor...Say What!!?!?!!

So last week Kole and I went to the Doctors, knowing that we were pregnant. Yay we're preggers!!!:) But the doctor came out with some news that put us both into shock...
Here's how it happened.
We thought we were about 11 weeks along so the NP was trying to hear the heart beat with a little Doppler radar sound thingy. She couldn't find it but said that sometimes even at 11 weeks you can't hear it. She didn't want us to leave empty handed so she brought out a lab top ultra sound machine.
She showed us the heart beat and said that it was measuring about 8 and a half weeks (We'll be 10 weeks on Monday) and that's probably why we couldn't hear the heart beat. Then..... the shocker!!.... she says... "Um, I think there's twins in here.".....TWINS!!!!
Kole and I looked at each other with looks of excitement and pure fright!
She moved the wand thingy around on my stomach and showed us both of them. In the picture above the two black sacks are where our baby's are:)
We have come out of the shock a little bit, but knowing that we're going to have two instead of one is kind of a BIG surprise! We are so excited for our little ones to come into this world!
Neither of us ever thought we would have twins. I mean they don't run in my side of the family at all!!!! But Kole has a couple of twins that run in his moms side of the family.
These babies happened naturally which is so crazy to me! We actually did get a prescription for Clomed which can cause multiple births but we got pregnant before I could even take it. lol It's funny how things work out!
I love my husband with all my heart and I know that he is going to be the best Daddy ever! And I'm so excited to be a mommy, I just hope I have the patients to handle two at a time!! Thankfully I have awesome friends and family who have already offered to help with so many things.
In the next couple of months expect to see me growing at a rapid speed and expect to see me buying double of everything!!! :) I'll keep everyone posted!!
Oh and PS... this week the babies are the size of peppermint candies. (you know the ones that have red and white stripes on them that they give out at taco time or Chinese buffets.)
