Hello again Blogging friends! I know it has been awhile...again... but the Ramsay house hold has been a little busy lately! We've made it through the holidays and had a bunch of visitors. I've been trying to get more organizes and have been working on my new years resolution... RELAX.
The last few years have been busy and hectic and while it has been fun there has also been a lot of stress, so I'm really trying to work on relaxing and enjoying every bit of time I have with my husband and kids while also taking a little time out for myself from time to time...
And while I have been spending tons of time with my family and taking a lot of bubble baths I've been neglecting the housework a bit and this poor blog of mine, but in neglecting things like this it causes me to stress.,. I know, I know.. I'm awesomly complicated. So I am going to try and get back on track.. so here goes.
Well a few things have broken lately.. (things happen in 3's) our microwave, my swiffer wet jet handle and my external hard drive that has ALL my pictures on it.. boo! The swiffer will just have to work for a while, the repair man came two days ago and I'm LOVING having my microwave fixed and we have a friend getting all my pics off the hard drive. Problems solved but still so annoying! I was going to wait to blog until I have my hard drive back but thankfully I found all my pictures of this new year on my hubby's computer.. YAY! So I can start now.
For New Years we had both of Kole's brothers and their families over and Kole's mom too!
We had fun party hats and noise makers!
Our poor babies didn't make it past 830. They were too exhausted but they had fun while it lasted.
Earlier in the day we had a late lunch/early dinner at the Chinese buffet down the road so when it came time to party we had TONS of appetizers to snack on!
We played tons of games and watched some TV. Darts and Just Dance 3 were a huge hit!
*Notice the dart board hanging from my curtain rod?.... It was too cold to play in the garage and I definitely did not want holes in my walls, so hanging it with a string and closing the curtain, we have a perfect place to play, and take down easily too!**...
When 12 o'clock rolled around the kids went outside and made tons of noise and all the adults got their new years kisses. Happy 2012!!!
On New years day we loaded up all the trucks and headed to Grafton, the ghost town only like 20 minutes from here! They have it set up really nice, and have been restoring some of the buildings.
When we got back we had pizza for lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the sunshine in our back yard!
Great Weekend! And I have so much more to post, things we've done and projects I've been working on . I'll get right on that... Maybe tomorrow! :)
