THE RAMSAY'S: Halloween/Birthday Eve and Day! (long name but it's how it is)

We've had a busy, BUSY last few weeks!! We've been so busy I even forgot to post pictures of the NICU reunion but my sister did so you can see them HERE. Well the day before Halloween and the boys birthday we weren't feeling good so we spent the day lounging around and watching lots and lots of Halloween movies. We also painted our pumpkins!

Mine was a happy pumpkin until it was dark and then the eyes and the mouth glowed in the dark. muah ha ha ha!!!!

The day of the boys birthday (and Halloween) I wanted to be a fun day! We didn't go do crazy things because they only turned 1 but we sure had fun at home!

I made them mickey birthday pancakes for breakfast! (normally our birthday pancakes have tons of chocolate chips in them but I figured they would already be having candy that day and they didn't need any more.)

Our weird-o cat got in the Halloween spirit and brought us a little present of a DEAD MOUSE!! to the back door! (don't worry I didn't take a picture of the mouse- Just of cute Kleyton at the door saying 'Chuck!!')

My boys wore their 'DOuble trouble' shirts!

Nana (Kole's grandma) came to visit

and we spent most of the day playing in their Giant tent Kole's dad gave them.

Later after dinner we got all dressed up to go trunk or treating at the church..

We had the Mario crew.

Mary and Trinity and Hannah and Ava met us there too! I don't know why we didn't get a picture of Hannah but she had a butterfly painted on her face.

Trinity was a pirate princess.

And Mary was apart of the Wizard of Oz.

We had a lot of fun going to all the cars and drinking the cider and listening to the music. My boys were getting tired and we ran out of candy so I started walking home with the stroller and forgot I had Donna's keys. So as soon as I got home I changed into jeans, left my boys with Mary and Hannah, dropped off the keys and headed to Wal mart for more candy. PS.. Wal mart doesn't have much to choose from at 730 on Halloween night..lol

When I got home there was literally 20 kids in front of our house so I hopped out of my car and started handing out more candy. When I got inside my boys were getting put in their jammies.

We all sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY as loud as we could and I got a sweet mommy and babies moment before I put them to bed.

I can't believe they are a year old. We have been through A LOT this year as a family, I'm exhausted but I'm so grateful for my two beautiful baby boys and for my Amazing husband who would do anything for us,.

At 1 year:

Kollin and Kleyton:

are crawling, and climbing, and standing all over everything!!

they say a lot of little words and like to repeat sounds and words people make and say.

Kleyton has 6 teeth and Kollin just got his 5th the day after their birthday.

They love to cuddle and play and laugh and eat.

They still wake up in the night and are not really good with sippy cups yet but I'm not worried.

We have their doctor appointment soon so I will let you all know how big they are! Pretty soon I'm going to have to get them new car seats...sad:( my babies are growing up way to fast.

After I put them to bed Donna made root beer floats and I made these!!!!
