My babies had their first birthday party on Saturday!! I can't believe it's been a year! Holy Crap!
Anyway because for Halloween (their actual birthday) they were going as Mario and Luigi I decided a Mario Bros themed party would be tons of fun!
Some things from when they were born, and preemie out fits we brought them home in.
A lot of our family and some friends came. It was so fun to have lots of people there.
For lunch two of my sisters and one of my friends made soups, we also had bread sticks that were devoured!!
It was a really nice day so all the kids played outside while the adults watched or hung inside by the food ;)
Right after lunch at the most perfect time EVER, My honey skyped us!!! It was so fun for everyone to talk with and see him. It was such a special party because Kole got to be there, (in robot form)! We all talked to him for a while...
Then we got the babies all ready for their smash cakes, we had to get a picture of mine and Donna's matching pants:)
We sang Happy Birthday!! and I blew out Kleytons candle and Danielle blew out Kollins with the help of some of the kids..
And then they went at it.
While they were eating I was in front of them video taping and talking with Kole while he watched. It was pretty cool!
And of course us Ramsay's get to mash their faces in the cake!
After a quick bath we sat them down to open the presents Kole sent to them.
Me getting all emotional because of what he sent. (I'm such a boob) He is an awesome Daddy and sent them each an American flag that he had flown for them on the 10th anniversary of 9-11. Each one had a paper with all the information and their names and a little story of explanation. It was such a special gift and I'm so glad Kole was able to be there, even if it was through a computer screen.
We all said our good byes to him and he wished the boys a happy birthday again.. but then he had to go.
We moved our party into the living room and opened up the rest of the presents and with two getting them there was A LOT!!
Big thanks goes out to my sister Donna for all her help with this party. Also thanks to Jared and MaKady for watching all the kids in the morning and helping us decorate and clean. And to Mary and Danielle J. for making soup! With out you guys I could not have pulled this party off.
Enjoying their presents with some cousins!
Happy Birthday party my boys!! Thanks to all the family and friends who were able to make it. Love you all!

You did an amazing job with our boys first birthday party. The Mario Bros decorations look awesome. I can't wait to see little Mario and Luigi. I got all teared up when everybody was singing Happy Birthday. I'm glad I was able to be there at least as a "robot."
