Our little boys turned 1 month old yesterday. Can you believe it!?! I feel like this month has flown by, on one hand I think "yay! the next few weeks will fly by too" on the other hand I think "this month has flown by way to fast and I feel like I'm a mommy only about half the time because they are not home yet. and oh no! What if their whole life flys by like this? and then my mind wanders to high school and college and girlfriends and wives, and they better choose good ones because there wives may be my only chance at having any daughters...." Can you tell that I have a LOT of time to think...
Anyway, my babies are probably the bestest babies ever!
They already have the best personalities and their own looks and I just love em. And they love us, and my little family is AWESOME!
Kollin @ 1 month old weighs 5lbs, is about 17 1/2 inches long ( how do you ask? when he was born and 18 inches long? well... probably because someone measured wrong and really he was about 16 in.) He is my laid back baby, he likes to sleep and have his hands up by his face. He loves to cuddle and is GREAT at eating, I bet he could eat all day if sleep didn't get in the way. He has these great big eyes that love to look at everything. And he has this awesome fo-hawk that I always put his hair in because it's cute.. I'm pretty sure the nurses hate that I do this because every morning when I walk in, someone has brushed his hair back down into a 50 year olds comb-over, that's ok though, cuz I'm the momma and I can put it right back into that fo-hawk!
Kleyton @ 1 month old weighs 4 lbs 14 oz. and is about 17 inches long. He is what we call "little brother" He loves to be near Kollin and when he is with out him, he gets very distraught. He eats better when Kollin is there, he sleeps better when Kollin is there, and that's okay because that's what big brothers and little brothers are for:) Kleyton is slowly picking up on the eating thing, Sometimes he does it so well, other times he acts super hungry and then tuckers himself out before he gets anything... Hopefully he will get the hang of it soon because that's all the babies need to do before they can come home... is eat for 48 hours with out any tube feedings. Kleyton has oxygen on right now because he gets bad reflux and it messes up his breathing and heart rate when it acts up. Thankfully they oxygen has made a big improvement which makes for a happier baby.. Both boys don't really cry all that much anyway but they are big a grunting.... reminds me a little bit of tool time. Maybe that's how they'll communicate... instead of crying or learning how to talk it will be a series of different grunts.. Hmmm I'll let ya know. anyway his hair is short and is starting to lighten up. You can definitely tell the babies apart now...well I can anyway:)
Hopefully by their 2 month update they will have been home for a couple of weeks... cross your fingers!

I went to school with Kole and just wanted to say congrats on your little boys!! They are SOOOO cute and I LOVE reading about their progress! I could not imagine being in there that long! My baby was there for 6 days and it seemed like FOREVER at the time but their lives do fly by pretty fast! Good luck on everything with them! When it was time for us to start the 48 hours of feedings Kynzlee got frustrated alot too but it will happen before you know it! Once again good luck and they are precious!!!
Oh Tabi, I just can't wait until New Years.
