Have your self a merry little christmas....

Here is my E-Christmas card to all of you bloggers out there!
The day after we brought the boys home while we were giving Kleyton a bath and was able to take of his oxygen for 15 minutes I grabbed my camera and started shooting away. I think the pictures turned out cute and it was a lot of fun to take pictures of my babies.... I'm sure there will be plenty more photo shoots to come!
So here we are one week till Christmas and I am so excited that I am able to spend this time with my family at home. This last year has been rough... Kole and I went through the list of struggles during this pregnancy and I'm amazed we made it out alive!! We tried to get pregnant and a week before we were going to start hormone pills we miraculously got pregnant...with twins! I went through 4+ months of being super super sick, only had a few weeks of normalcy before being put on partial bed rest and having to quit work(which was extremely had to do cuz I loved my job). Then I went into early labor with a night in the hospital. Then after the labor scare I had 4 hard weeks of bed rest (which I would never recommend even for the lazy lover in us all). After all that bed rest they decided to come any way and after 4ish days of painful on again off again back contractions in the hospital they came into this world two different ways.... then we had to endure 39 days of them being in the NICU and poor little Kleyton still has to deal with that stupid nose cannula (which he hates and pulls it out on a regular basis).... Even after all that... I wouldn't trade any of it. Because I wouldn't be at my house hanging out with my 3 most favorite boys in the world making Christmas cookies and loving every minute of it. I'm so grateful for all that I have and am so excited for Christmas in 1 week!!!
1 month check up:
So the boys got their 1 month check up when they were 6 weeks (being in the NICU and all, it's kinda hard to go to the pediatrician) so here are their stats..
Kollin: Weight:5 lbs 6 oz
Height:18 1/2 inches
Head: 34cm
and because my pediatrician wants to see how fast they catch up to full term babies he is charting them on the regular chart and Kollin is in the 'less than 5%' catagory
Kleyton: Weight: 5 lbs
Height: 18 1/4 inches long
Head: 33 3/4 cm
in the less than 5% too
Oh and I got asked a few blogs back if the babies were on Synegies (spell?) --which is a shot they can get every 28 days to help lessen the symptoms of RSV if they catch it.---
and YES they got a shot before we left the hospital and i am so thankful that this might help even a little if they should get sick..
Anyway.. from all of us here at our house, to all of you out there... We wish you a Merry Christmas and hope you all enjoy it as much as we will!
