Busy, Busy, Busy...

I feel like we've been going non-stop all summer long!  And that I can never get caught up on my blog but I'm working on it.  For about 2 weeks we didn't have any trips planned.  We went to the splash pad a few times, out to lunch with friends, watched lots of movies, and my niece got into tuachan and my sister got a great job down here so those two with the rest of their family moved in with us!  It is such a fun and needed change. Well right before they moved in my other sister was at my house and we decided that her little girl needed a haircut.  She has super cute curls in the back but the top was a little too long...

Kleyton loves to sleep on his belly..  He has ever since he was in the hospital and they put them on their stomachs to sleep for their reflux.  Now that he can roll over out of his back position I put him in, every morning and after every nap I find him like this...

The boys have been crazy clingy to me lately.  They want to be held ALL THE TIME!!  and now that Kollin can scoot/crawl no matter where I go he's there screaming "Dad!!" Oh yeah, he calls me dad.  Kole is Da-da and I'm Dad.  he said mom a couple days ago but it was only because I was in the kitchen and he was upset in the living room and he thought that he really needed me.  Anyway.......,  one day I really needed ten minutes to get something done so I gave him a sucker and then handed him to my niece.  He loved both and it gave me enough time to finish what I started.

Then they played on some fun toys Lucas brought.

kleyton had just woken up from his nap and as I was holding him I went to open the curtain, just as I lifted my hand he swung his head around and my fingernail caught his nose.  It gave him a pretty good scratch and I felt so bad.  he didn't cry very long but it bled a little and I didn't want him rubbing it and making it worse.  So a little first aid tape later and we had this....

Poor little dude.  It stopped bleeding and I took the bandage off an hour later and it's all healed up now. But it's never fun when your baby gets hurt.
